It’s a Thanksgiving miracle!
Former UFC Champ Champ and professional trouble maker Conor Mcgregor is set to face Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246. The bout was announced by multiple outlets simultaneously before being confirmed by the two men and Dana White himself on social media earlier today.
While this bout has been teased through verbal jabs from both fighters over Twitter for months now, this is our first notice of contracts being signed and an event decided on. With the two men coming off of very crucial losses, Cerrone’s recent tear being stopped by Tony Ferguson and Mcgregor being smeshed by Khabib, a win could propel either man back into the limelight.
The bout is set for January 18 in Las Vegas, Nevada. More details on the fight card to follow.
