Osvaldo “Queixinho” Moizinho and Edwin Najmi are staying active on the Fight 2 Win stage as the promotion continues its coronavirus comeback tour.
The promotion has announced that the BJJ athletes will be coming back to compete again, this time in the main event for F2W 146.
Najmi has competed in multiple recent F2W events, most recently at F2W 144 against Jonnatas Gracie. He made waves when he bested former UFC champ Benson Henderson with a triangle at F2W 141 — a fitting follow-up to his victory at F2W 136 against No-Gi World Champion Johnny Tama.
Queixinho will be making back-to-back F2W appearances, with his match against Najmi coming right after his tough battle against Garry Tonon at F2W 145. Though he was bested by Tonon when they faced off, he won his previous four F2W matches (including a victory against AJ Agazarm at F2W 140).
Also taking the stage for the first time in two years will be Caio Terra, who’s making his big return against 10th Planet black belt Gabe Tuttle. Tuttle, who works as the head instructor at 10th Planet Austin in Texas, is a force to be reckoned with. But the Richie Martinez black belt will have his work cut out for him against Terra, who’s one of the most accomplished grapplers of his generation and has a whopping ten no-gi world titles to his name.
Fight 2 Win 147 will take place in Austin, TX on July 10 and can be streamed live on FloGrappling.
