Jiu-jitsu is a great workout for people who hate working out. As a fun, social, and intellectually stimulating activity, it offers a lot more than simply going to a gym to lift weights or run on the treadmill.
It’s no wonder, then, that so many people have undergone incredible physical transformations through BJJ. Many have lost weight, while others have gained healthy weight. The cardio and strength training that jiu-jitsu offers by nature, of course, has a lot to do with this, but BJJ can also encourage people to make other improvements in their lifestyle that can contribute to better wellbeing.
Now, we want to see YOUR amazing jiu-jitsu transformations. Have you lost a lot of weight since you started training? Have you put on muscle? Are you proud of the progress you’ve made in your fight against an eating disorder? Send your proudest before-and-after pics to us via firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “BJJ Transformation” for the chance to have your pictures featured in an upcoming post. Please also include any additional details you’d like us to publish, such as your name, rank, total weight lost or gained, and time between your “before” pic and “after pic.
Hopefully, these transformations will inspire others to keep going or even start their own jiu-jitsu journey.
