A determined person can overcome seemingly impossible obstacles and this is clearly the case with Fabricio Galvao of Brazil. Galvao is 30 years old and he lives in Cuaiba, Brazil. He was born with Down’s syndrome but he did not let this condition stand in his way.

As a youngster, Galvao showed a keen interest in combat sports and eventually took up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Today, the young man has a black belt in the sport and he is the first person with Down’s syndrome to achieve this feat.
