In an effort to make high level competition available to a wider range of competitors, the UAEJJF has announced this Monday, October 3, that the registration for the upcoming Las vegas International Pro will be free of charge.
The event is scheduled October 15, at the Las Vegas Sports Center. It is open to all nationalities, all belts, for kids, juveniles, adults and master 1 & 2. Results in Las Vegas will count points in the UAEJJF ranking. The ranking will later on be used to define invitations for the 2017 Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship. The 2017 ADWPJJC is scheduled April 18-22, in Abu Dhabi. The registration deadline for the Las Vegas International Pro is October 13.
In order to register for free at the Las Vegas International Pro, athletes need to be members of the UAEJJF. Athletes who are not members can do it just before registering. The registration carries a US$25 fee.
The Las Vegas International Pro is part of a worldwide series of events leading up to the 2017 ADWPJJC. There are 12 other events scheduled until March 2017.
