Jon Jones Convinces Two Men To Hand Over Spray Paint Cans Amid Protests

As protests across the world continue in response to police brutality against Black people in the United States, the UFC’s very own Jon Jones decided to step in when he saw two young men carrying spray paint.

Jones posted video of the encounter on social media, showing the moment when he confronted the two individuals.

Is this **** even about George Floyd anymore?!? Why the **** are you punk *** teenagers destroying our cities!?? 🤬🤬 As a young black man trust me I’m frustrated as well but this is not the way, we are starting to make a bad situation worse. If you really got love for your city (505), protect your ****. All you old heads need to speak up, call your young family members and tell them to come home tonight.

The encounter took place in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jones is currently in a dispute with Dana White and the UFC and has said that he’s vacating his light heavyweight title. While things may not be cool with him and the UFC, at least he’s using his influence to help his adopted city.
