The Rizin Fighting Federation has announced a big September matchup between Kron Gracie and Hideo Tokoro. They will meet in the 65.8kg weight class at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan. This will be Kron Gracie’s second MMA fight after winning his debut via armbar and triangle choke.
It’s going to be a big test given Tokoro’s experience. The 38-year old Japanese turned pro back in 2000 amassing a record of 33 wins, 28 losses, and 2 draws. He has already faced Kron’s uncles, getting a win against Royler Gracie and a draw against Royce Gracie. He also won his debut with Rizin last year with a first round submission via armbar.
Gracie is in great shape and says he has been learning a lot from his training partners with include Gilbert Melendez and the Diaz Brothers. He is mentally focused on the fight and ready to take on the challenge.
