Fight 2 Win has just announced a number of big matches for its 147th event on July 17, and they’ll all culminate in a main event between two of the top middleweight competitors for the chance at a F2W title.
The promotion has announced that Manuel Ribamar and Johnatha Alves will go head-to-head in a middleweight title match for the Austin, TX event. Ribamar is a bit of a star in the city, having won the Austin Open three times throughout his black belt career in addition to a No-Gi World Championship title last year. He’ll be hoping to build on his big win at Euros earlier this year by winning the title match next week, but victory won’t come easily. Alves, who just earned his black belt a little over a year ago, is showing a lot of promise, winning the Fresno Open last year and taking home wins against names like Jamil Hill-Taylor and Marcio Andre following a decorated career as a colored belt.
F2W has also announced two other big matches for F2W 147. In the co-main event, accomplished F2W and Bellator veteran Rafael Lovato Jr. will be returning to the stage yet again, this time to battle it out against Abu Dhabi Grand Slam and ACBJJ World Championship winner Helton Jose Jr.
Their match will be preceded by an exciting match between ADCC qualifier Elisabeth Clay and three-time black belt world champion Luiza Monteiro.
With three big-name matches already on the card, there’s no telling what other exciting athletes will also grace the stage next week.
