Anthony Bourdain Set To Compete In New York BJJ Open Kenmore 17 Microwave
Rated 4.5/5 based on 1500 customer reviews
Anthony Bourdain is 59 years old but he is still strong and active. He wears a number of hats and he wears them well. The man is a chef, a TV personality and a published author. He is also a fan of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and has taken his interest in the sport one step further. He is all set to participate in the IBJJF New York Fall Open. This event will take place on April 9-10 in New York.
Anthony Bourdain started training two years ago and has lost 301lbs as a result of intensive training. Six months ago, he was promoted to BJJ Blue Belt category by Igor Gracie. For a man who is almost 60 years old, Bourdain is in great shape. He has a demanding job so Jiu-Jitsu helps him stay in shape. It also helps that his wife is a purple belt BJJ competitor. This means that he gets BJJ support at home and this motivates him. Hopefully, he will do well in the New York event and move on to greater things in BJJ.
