It looks like UFC Hall-of-Famer Randy Couture is going to be fine after being hospitalized for a heart attack on Wednesday, according to MMA Fighting.
Couture walked into the hospital in Los Angeles after reporting feeling “off” during a workout. The former UFC champ was then admitted and treated for a heart attack, then released from the intensive care unit the following day. He is expected to make a full recovery.
The 56-year-old retired from fighting professionally years ago, but he still spends plenty of time in the spotlight, acting in films like The Expendables and even showing off his fancy footwork on Dancing With the Stars. He also does commentating work.
The Jiu-Jitsu Times will provide updates on Couture’s condition as they become available.
