According to Rener Gracie, there is a huge mistake that a lot of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners are making when it comes to using their craft in a street fighting scenario, that simple piece of advice is… If you play for points, don’t be surprised when you aren’t prepared for punches. What they are simply saying is that if you are in a street fight like situation and you are not prepared for when the fists are a flying, you may find yourself on the wrong end of a beating.
