Many women in jiu-jitsu can tell horror stories of gender-based discrimination or sexual harassment from their teammates and coaches. Sadly, many of them quit jiu-jitsu because of it and never come back.

In this video, Rener Gracie (who helped found the Women Empowered program at Gracie University) chats with a couple who trains at his academy, discussing everything from how to build a more female-friendly culture in the academy to some of the perks of having a significant other who trains (mats in the house, anyone?).
