You really only need to take one wrestling class to learn that takedowns are hard on your knees. Single-legs, in particular, can cause your knees to take a beating, and the pain can, at best, make you reluctant to drill takedowns, and at worst, it can cause injuries that inhibit your overall training or joint health.
In this video, though, ADCC veteran Alec Baulding demonstrates a single-leg variation that will help your knees creak in relief. This technique is much easier on your joints, and the details that Baulding provides will help you refine it even more if you’ve already learned it. Take a look!
