During lunchtime at Florin High, multiple brawls erupted in the school among two separate groups of students. The principal, Don Ross, tried to pacify the situation but he became one of casualties instead. A video of the incident showed show a student slams principal to the ground. Ross quickly got up.
Staff from the Sheriff’s department and other school officials came in moments later. Three students were arrested for battery and threats. The causes for the incidents were insults and a relationship issue. The injured officials have received medical treatment for the minor injuries they sustained. The students were unharmed. Classes have since resumed at Florin High.
