Mad Max: Fury Road and Venom actor Tom Hardy is one of jiu-jitsu’s celebrity practitioners, and now, his belt is starting to reflect the hard work he’s been putting into the sport.
A post by Royal Marines Jiu-Jitsu (of which Hardy was recently named Head Ambassador) revealed that Roger Gracie black belt Carlos Santos awarded Hardy his second stripe two days ago.

Hardy has been involved with jiu-jitsu in some capacity since 2017, and he’s since his increased his involvement through the nonprofit organization REORG, which helps veterans use jiu-jitsu to aid in their physical and mental recovery.
