To be clear, no, we’re not slamming other martial arts, other martial arts practitioners, having dreams, the hero’s journey, anything like that. We’re just sharing another example of what happens when hobbyists assume a level of proficiency in high level fighting that may, you know, not be entirely accurate.

Story goes like this: An enthusiastic Wing Chung practitioner wants to demonstrate the art form he loves at a high level, and calls out Chinese MMA fighter Li Jing Hong on the country’s equivalent of Twitter. Hong accepts, and the pair meet center cage in Chengdu.
