In the leadup to their fifth major event, 3rd Coast Grappling has announced that they’ll be adding BJJ black belt and Hollywood actor Sean Patrick Flanery to their commentary team.
The promotion revealed the news on social media a few days ago.
You may know SPF from such classics as Powder and Boondock Saints but hes also one hell of a Jiu Jitsu practitioner and commentator.

McGuire expressed his excitement for having Flanery join the commentary team alongside Brandon Mullins and Alan Villacorta.
“We have been looking for a good third man, and when we found out Sean Patrick was a Houston local and really liked what we did, we made the connection, and here we are. He will be our number-two in the booth with Brandon Mullins and Alan Villacorta. Should be a permanent deal as long as things go well. He’s such a cool dude. So knowledgeable too.”
Flanery, who will be starring in the upcoming MMA-based film Born a Champion, will make his commentary debut this weekend at 3CG V. The card will feature both William and Andrew Tackett, Fellipe Andrew, Johnny Tama, Edwin Najmi, Kody Steele, and many more big names from both the local Texas scene and beyond.
3rd Coast Grappling V will take place this Saturday, December 19 and can be streamed live on FloGrappling.
